PART OF US is an intermedia theatre piece told from the perspective of a grandson in the company of his grandmother. The postmodern parable raises questions concerning our search for community and belonging through spoken word, musical compositions and live sounds. At the centre is the story of the magical bird Nó, who leaves traces in myths and legends all over the world in his search for a mate. Equipped with headphones, the audience is guided on a three-dimensional sound route following documentary and fictional narratives in the open areas of MAM Bahia.
