During the festival weekend the participating artists present the results from their individual and collective research on site. Po:era promotes site-specific, context-related works that emerge from transdisciplinary collaborations as well as participatory processes in cooperation with the local project partners and the neighbourhood. In recent editions, the results of the artistic process have included site-specific workshops, guided tours and audio walks, guerrilla performances in public spaces, visual-creative and performative responses to institutional (power) contexts, sculptures and installations using local materials, sound art in dialogue with the urban environment and nature.
ONSITE raises relevant questions in urban policy discourse at each new location. The local partners participate in the discussion of these issues, bring them into their areas of activity and represent their own positions and perspectives. The artistic results of this process presented at the festival bear witness to the traces that the project participants leave behind and that the site in turn leaves behind in them.
