GAIA STORIES is an interactive performance created during the artistic residency 'Count Down Grabowsee'. The immersive journey for two people is set on the premises of the abandoned tuberculosis hospital "Heilstätte Grabowsee" near Berlin. It is designed to help the travelers connect with their animal bodies, the more-than-human world and finally with each other. Inspired by the idea of a treasure hunt the players are guided and directed by a pre-recorded voice on their path towards connection, but it's up to them to decide how deep they want to dive. On their journey they listen to some of the many stories linked to the historic site and its many-faced inhabitants as well as stories of worlds both known and unfamiliar.
