/ STRANGE FORCE is an walking experience that superimposes a three-dimensional sound 'space' onto the embodied experience of Lisbon's Bairro Alto. Equipped with radio signal headphones, the audience embarks on a short journey guided by the performers Lucas Lacerda and Daniel Weyand, instrumental compositions and field recordings drawn from the neighbourhood. The work unfolds a connection between the affective stories of the lisboeta neighborhood and a range of contemporary issues: the attention to non-human bodies, living and non-living, the presence of colonial and patriarchal narratives in our every-day lives and their inscriptions in the materiality of the neighbourhood.
